If only you were in Spain, My A170 cdi automatic has gone wrong again and will need a second-hand box but will cost more than the 2001 car is worth but I could do it myself given a lift using your guide.

Just wanna say a big thank you for this video. My in-laws transmission failed on their a190 and this video has helped tremendously with me lowering their subframe to remove and replace the transmission with a 2nd hand one that works. Unfortunately I didn't have a hoist to do it with so had to take a couple extra steps to pull the subframe down and then forward rather than just down but I've made it work with the car on jackstands and the subframe on two trolley jacks. Couldn't have done it without this video so cheers! Much appreciated!

Muito bom trabalho. Very good job. ;-) No Class A, raramente se tem de baixar o conjunto motor. Mas quando isso acontece, o melhor é reparar, substituir, limpar tudo o que for possivel de uma só vez. Pode dar mais trabalho e sai um pouco mais caro. Mas evita intervenções posteriores. Fiquem bem.
