Dani please how is the quality of interior? I really love CLA 45s and I thought about do a crazy switch from Audi A8 to this small rocket but I am afraid about quality of interior. Thx man
@@griffin_kith6214 That’s what I mean. I have an A45 and want to change to an A45S soon, but I like the exhaust note I have now. At least for A45S owners, there’s an exhaust that will bring some more theatre. Don’t want a quiet car!

@@griffin_kith6214 The A45S is a massive upgrade, I’m fitting a bigger turbo to mine that’ll give it similar performance but the rest of the car (handling, looks, all the user interfaces for electrics) is just so much better. You always want the latest and greatest 😎
@@griffin_kith6214 why would he get an exhaust for his A45? He said he likes the sound of his car, but wants the A45s. This way he would have the newer car and the sound he preferred.
People looking at the Lotus Emira need to come here and listen to how good this engine sounds. The people choosing the V6 cause of “sound” likely have no idea how this engine can sound
The overall note of the engine, yeah. At least from a 4 cylinder egine. The pops and bangs are fkin annoying tho. Oh and the v6 is naturally aspirated and can be had with a manual. Maybe thats the reason why many prefer the v6. Oh and one more thing. A v6 manual will not depreciate in value. Ever.
@@horvathr95 Manual cars are fun when you don’t like in a big city. I have a 2007 civic si I love to drive manual but for daily driving, give me my GLE53. Comfortable and paddle shifters If the goal is to have a dual purpose vehicle give me the Mercedes engine. The V6 is a great option and Will prob appreciate better because it’s Manual over time but I don’t buy cars for their re sell value. My point is just that both cars sound good. Engagement should be why you get the V6 cause to me the Mercedes engine sounds just as good The pops and bangs are only there when you are driving extremely aggressive over a certain RPM and in sportiest mode

This is why they removed manual gearboxes from cars, people can't shift gears even in automatic. Also that rev counter is obnoxious and counter intuitive
Dude the purpose of the video is to hear the difference with the downpipe… it’s not about shifting on the right moments for performance, but shifting to hear the pops etc… And you have different styles you can choose from… mine is set-up with the classic rev counter style.
Nice but of road, nice driving too, get your pads changed, mine were the same, apparently there's a problem with the factory fit ones and there's new ones out now with a different part number 👍
Changing the downpipe is mostly done to get rid of the opf/gpf, which in a lot lf cars, muffles the sound a lot. On the A45s it’s a huge difference, but you can also notice it with the new RS3 for example. You still hear that typical 5cylinder note, but it’s quieter than the previous gen. So probably removing that opf is also going to make a big difference and make it sound more like it should be from the RS3.
did u need to do any code changes to the ecu to support the downpipe? if so, what tune did you get done to remove any cells generated by none standard dp?
I simply removed the check engine light in a workshop, without going for Stage 1. If you install downpipe without running any ecu updates, then the car will enter "safety mode" and not drive the same, thus the reason I recommend going for stage 1 or removing the check engine light. Hope it helped :)
