Great video. I was able to replaced the same air spring on my 2013 ML 350 today, all thanks to your video. I bought the air spring from autoshack and it only cost me $66 CAD plus tax. Like you, tested the old one to see where the leak was, and it was in the same spot as yours. Apparently it is very common for them to crack in this manner. I will probably have to replace the other ones soon. Thanks again.
That was an excellent video . Got a GL 350 with similar problem on the front suspension .. I can hear the air leaking after I turn off the engine.. Is the process to replace the front driver/ passenger airbag same as the rear or is there something that I need to look out for...

Charles Caltrop, although its hard to diagnose fuel mixture codes remotely, but causes could be MAF, Boost leaks, fuel pump, fuel pressure sensor, O2 sensors.. without additional data and test cant tell exactly, u will need to look at freeze frame data as well ..

Hi I have a 2007 CLS 550 and its throwing the airmatic code: "Power Supply Valves Short Circuit to Ground" I checked for continuity on each electrical plug going into the valve block and there wasn't any. The resistance was greater than 1.5 ohms. Is there supposed to be continuity or is there only when the relay activates? Do i likely have a break in the wire? Can you please help me im really stuck!!!!
I got the same car but i cant even communicate with the system.. My scanner use to let me until the benz drop really. Now i get kick out of the system...i check fuse and relay...any advice
Wihout a scan tool to pull faults and actuate components it is almost impossible to figure out for certain , u still have the accumulator , the lines, the module, adjusting calibration after replacing certain components in the system .. so the lost is long ..
After 2 years I am again!! Now both front suspension is losing air, I replaced valve block and compressor. Tested at the shop, stayed level. I came home, after 2 hours front suspension lowered again. Sensors are good per scan, No leaks both shocks. Is there anything else I need to check. This is very frustrating.
It is the shocks usually, like in 99% of the time .. u just cant test them for leaks 100%. Try raising the car to the max and spraying water all around the air strut and top of it .
Hello I have a question but it’s not about shocks. I have a 2015 Mercedes GL550 and I do not know how to change the cam plugs. This is a v8 engine it’s much harder but the v6 is very easy to do. Can you help me please ?
Hi! My husband changed both rear air springs on my GL 450 but the truck won’t rise! Any suggestions? It’s been parked in the garage for the past 8 months because of this 😢
its either a bad compressor or bad valve block, to test the compressor unhook one of the front shocks air lines let it release air, reconnect it and see if the compressor pumps air into it, if it does then compressor is good and change valve block
