Do they use more than one driver to see if there's any difference between drivers on lap records?

Hey super video.. am I correct in understanding what you mean in terms of the difference with the Porsche GT3, GT2rs, GT2RSmr and the Merc GT3 black series. Is it that the GT2rs is a much more pointy car at the front end has a much stronger bite and nervous feeling rear being rear engined etc.. Whereas the mercedes is of course front mid engined.. meaning it has that more predictable slightly more understeering/pushy front end.. with the rear feeling more planted and Stable, giving the driver more confidence to push and use somewhat bigger steering/throttle inputs (still talking small margins), compared to very pointy and nervous needing very needle like precise small inputs? I personally prefer a more pointy car, where it almost feels like your sitting just behind the front wheels, so you know the smallest steering imput will place the car exactly where you want it and can feel the car as if its rotating right behind your driver's seat!. I know alot of people don't tend to like that though as from what I've experienced (very limited experience) it means a move nervous rear so if your not smooth can easily lead to losing the rear... (Or I'm just talking rubbish 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️). Hopefully there is some truth in there and everything I think and hope I know isn't total rubbish lol :).

I'm guessing next summer they will be 3 seconds faster in higher temps. That driving seemed dangerous in the cold/damp areas. I was afraid the car would lose traction and end up in a barrier

@@dan_t3702 I know it BECAUSE I am German😂 I speak English and learnd some French in school. Compared to English, French was hard. But compared to French grammar, German grammar is a lot weirder; there are lots quirky details that even most Germans like to neglect

Also the Valkarie and these will not be beat for a while as I expect the AMG One and Valkarie to be faster then 6 minutes 20 seconds. The Rimac C2 and Jesko will be fast I am just not sure how fast. These next gen hypercars are just crazy.

Neither Jesko or Rimac are track cars. Jesko i a top speed car, C2 is a grand tourer.

@@derbigpr500 Jesko makes a top speed version and a Track version. The Rimac C2 was designed to run the ring. Neither will compete with the AMG One and Valkarie but between them and supercars

I think this car is capable of sub 6:40 on optimal dry conditions.

Manufacturers can't use modified cars to do lap time and claimed it stock now. So we almost could say Lambo is dead on Nurburgring.

I agree ! I run 245s on the front of my w124 e500 and, although, it is very far from sports car, it increased the high speed stability with heavy V8 in the front

@@mgcharoudin wasn’t this record lap done a few weeks ago. Why the delay in announcing their record time? You knew about it weeks ago. Was it still in the process of being officially certified by the Ring? Makes no difference as they are the new production Ring King!

Trail braking means going into the corner while still applying braking force.

@@mgcharoudin What does that accomplish outside of slowing the car down? Is it settling down the suspension?

@@ScottHillsmusclecargarage you brake later hence carrying more speed and have a better turn in due to weight transfer.

Nowhere near Misha's experience but in general trail braking is slow release of the brakes and keeping some pressure as you start turning after the main braking in straight line. This gradual rather than abrupt change in weight distribution helps to keep the car stable AND helps to rotate the car.
