my 2012 e class250 also has the same problem, the circulation automatically switch off like every 30mins and i have to press the button again as i can smell the exhaust fume from outside.
How fast the tranny shifts when you put on manual mode? I’ve got the 7-speed version, and when you shift manually using the paddle shift, it literally took near 1 sec for the gear to change .
Bobby, I have been actively looking for people movers, do you have any recommendations for me, is there any continental MPV available? Recommendations for Recons or new also can.
Hi Bobby, I’ve got 3 questions. 1. Are the seats comfortable say for someone with a wider waistline ? 2. How is the overall visibility from the driver’s seat ? 3. Any noticeable wind noise or road noise at high speeds ? Appreciate your response !
Liked, subscribed. How does it cope with high speed cruising >180kph ? Is the steering on the lighter or heavier side and how's the noise insulation at highway speed. Perhaps you can consider them in your future reviews Cheers👍
+Lester tan noise insulation is generally good, my car has a slight whistle on the driver window. High speed cruising is a lot more stable than previous gen. Steering has good feedback so you never feel afraid
anybody driving c250 c200 how about rear and comfort of passenger? its look like the seat base quitee short... do rear passenger comfortable and relax in long drive i e 3-6hrs drive?
Great video as always Bobby..I have one question, on the AMG suspension in the C250 u said its on the firm side, but is it still comfortable for rear passengers? Thanks
No way. My Dad's C200 AMG is so uncomfortable. Lowered firm sports suspension plus low profile run flat tyres is a combo of disaster to ride comfort. Ride comfort is too stiff, bumpy, harsh, shaky and rough even at low speeds (30). Both front and rear.
I find my Myvi rides better. I can accept it's poor ride comfort as it's a cheap car but for a very expensive Continental car, I can't accept the very low ride quality
I think you can consider Avantgarde which has comfort suspension (not sure whether got Agility Control if got choose Comfort). Then change the stupid Run Flat tyres to normal high profile tyres. I believe you'll get a smoother, softer and comfy ride
Hi, my colleague Keegan Dorai is reviewing the E250 now. His video should be up in the next week, you may subscribe to him by searching Keegan Dorai on RU-vid.
Hi Bobby , nice review.......im currently considering between c250 AMG or with the base E200......im 40 now and which is better amont them 2 . Currently driving F30 320i (2013)....Plz advice......
+camry037 i have to say go for the E200. Less power yeah, but the transmission mapping improved a lot. And E class's fit and finish is way better than C Class. But to be honest, S90 and 530i are better in my opinion.
The A-class can come with either with/without the diamond grille, depending on which one MBM makes standard. In Australia (where I live now), diamond grille is an optional equipment for all A-classes.
Eng Lok Hau diamond grille is on all coupe models (including SUV coupes) and AMG43 models. Not too long ago, MBM launched the AMG43 line for the C (sedan and coupe), GLC (SUV and coupe), E and SLC. Sadly they all lack the Driving Assistance Package Plus safety suite (just like every other MB in Malaysia besides the GLE400 SUV, GLE450 coupe, S400 hybrid and GLS-class).
Well who knows maybe the owner retrofitted the diamond grille themselves? I'm the administrator of Malaysia's local W205 group (facebook.com/groups/mbw205my) and some of our members have the diamond grille retrofitted onto their cars.
You do realise that the suspension on the C250 is not adjustable right? No matter if you're in Eco or Sport Plus, it's the same suspensions set up... 27:13 That's not the lane departure sensor. This car doesn't have that feature. That was the forward collision warning system (screwing up).
@@vincenio Of cos facelift one because C250 AMG ride quality sucks with the ultra hard suspension. Stiff, harsh, bumpy, shaky ride quality. Combination with run flat tyres is a disaster
The 7G had both the larger screen and the panoramic roof. And somehow the burmester sound system sounds terrible, worst sound system in the segment. I was told by a salesperson at Hup Seng that the Burmester we get in the the C, GLC, E and even the S is the "base" Burmester. As those in the C, GLC and E only cost around 1k euros and around 1.3k euros for the S class. However, in the S class you can opt for the higher end 3D sound system for a whopping 8k euros.
jeremy funny. Cause a lot of reviews say its one of the best in the market. What i feel is that MBM puposely covers the ordinary speaker with the burmester speaker casing to puposely make it look premium and not the actual burmeister system itself
Peter Ambrose yeah.. i was so stoked when they announced the C class with Burmester (knowing how good they sound in Porsches). But when we received the C250 CBU, we thought there was something wrong with the sound system lol. So disappointed
the new infotainment system is very disappointing! was looking at the C180 to change from my w212 E200 but upon seeing the infotainment system I was a bit turned down. for 230K they don't even wanna give the COMAND infotainment system, instead they give a cheaper one with a cheap looking Garmin map (functions well but graphics are ugly). even in the 300k+ C350e they don't wanna give the COMAND system.
Still looks great after a few years on the road. MB did a great job on the design. However, its odd that BMW has a more comfortable ride (and still handles better) than a Mercedes. Was considering a C200, cos i don't want the stiff AMG Sports Suspension in the C250. But the base audio system in the C200 isn't that great, as you can't get the Burmester. So i'm sort of stuck (A4 is nice but exterior design is too conservative, Lexus IS is very nice but the pricetag is just ridiculous) . Maybe will just wait for the upcoming new 3 Series.
+Lagibizar currently if you want a nice german sports sedan with great handling and comfort and specifications its the Passat. The merc certainly looks the most glamorous, audi the most well built, bmw most fun to drive (yes the comfortable suspension makes it even more fun) but the cabin is really showing its age and it isnt as well fitted inside as the others and sound proofing is the poorest of the lot here but still acceptable. There are two schools of argument when it comes to sound proofing tho as the likes of the 3 series and mazda lets you hear your tyres better. And that is part of the feedback too. Qhen i drove the current and new CX5 back to back on track i can drive the current CX5 faster purely because i get to listen to the tyre's gradual protest. Haha
@@BobbyAngmalaysia The C200 AMG (I believe C250 AMG similar too) roof soundproofing is horrible. When normal rain, got so much Melody in the car. Even Proton has better roof soundproofing
The Merc's look nice inside but materials are cheap and nasty. Build quality is poor as is reliability. Engine is very average and 9G gearbox hunts for the right gear; it gets easily confused. Mercedes is a mass market manufacturer these days.
