Self driving is still in early stages, 4 years ago would've caused way too many accidents. Usually when a new technology is announced it doesn't get into the mainstream for 5+ years
It looks quite interesting and futuristic. But I beg to question should individuals really start making people lazier and even less aware of what goes on around them? Also, I wonder how wrecks concerning these vehicles will be handled. Who is at fault in the event of an accident by a self-driven vehicle? I personally would like to see people focus more on aspects such as getting vehicles off of the ground or new types of wheels so we do not have to keep replacing tires that keep popping and more mainstream/common energy sources for vehicles to run on such as solar power, so that people will save money by not having to keep purchasing gas to fuel their vehicles.
LUEKAM yea but when your cars top speed reads 120-160 what are you supposed to do.. Its like putting a big cake infront of a fat kid then tell him dont touch it😁 i feel set up.. I feel all cars should have a maxium speed limit off 50 maybe a little faster downhill😁 that would greatly reduce accidents

Lazier and less aware of what goes on around them? I think it’s a much better use of your free time to do whatever you want in the car instead of having to waste time looking all around you. Maybe you can study a language, or practice art, or finally have the time to read a good book.
The car couldn't wreck if its self driven, so whoever drove into it, also it would be able to avoid wrecks much easier since it would be able to think of every possible outcome instantly

People saying this car is ugly, it's made to be extremely aerodynamic and futuristic, there's not really anywhere else we can go with the look of our cars nowadays, we've exhausted the way cars look so this is what will happen in the future to cars, but as always Mercedes is already there; ahead of every other manufacturer.

I think I’d feel so uncomfortable with an automatic and like would just be either staring intently out the window, trying to catch the car doing something wrong, or trying to figure out how to go manual. this looked like a car you see in a futuristic movie- not urban society.
Why r there so many hate comments bout this car? It’s actually pretty sic and really futuristic. It’s been designed so perfectly and way ahead of its time. Imagine how comfortable this will make driving in 10-15 yrs

@Eyeless Faceless yeah, I suppose. I’m not really familiar with “car culture”, but I can somewhat understand loving just the feeling of driving a car. What I can’t understand is some of the stranger comments in this section that seem like their whole livelihood is at risk due to some ultra expensive self-driving car.
In my opinion it is scary how fast technology is growing these days and although it may be denied ai is taking over our lives i mean go back 50 years there was no phones and now we have this ai fully concept car not to mention things like the tesla auto pilot and it is all taking away from the real feel of cars and mechanics in general

@Pulse Blade I mean taking a bus or tram really isn't different from going at a public place like a store, plus I think they are enforcing social distancing while traveling in public transport at least I believe. Just maybe take a shower or take off your clothes when arriving home ;)

They had fewer gadgets to entertain themselves and make their lives easier but they didn't have the stress or the burden of paying for these things. People seem to be heading back to that lifestyle more and more. If I were younger and could do it all over again, I would live close to work as possible.

This car is bogus. First off, who in the world would drive a car that has no arm rest?! Secondly, i would never let such a thing as a computer drive me around, next thing you know,i have my seat rotated scrolling on the internet and the computer malfuntions and rear ends someone.
