In this video you can see a very rare Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 driving off road on the beach! This 6X6 has 536 bhp and it weighs 3,7 tons. It was awesome to see it drifting like that!

Yes. The weight gets distributed in 6 differents points insted of 4 (it means less weight per wheel. This is key driving on sand), and you have 6 points of traction insted of 4.

+TheLanciaFan interesting . i have two friends who have sand cars both 4 seaters and have roughly 2000 hp each. i wonder why they dont have 6 wheel versions. not like they couldnt afford it

+Cody Hodgson Because the are hard to build (technically and in terms of money and time) and it is a whole project by itself. Four wheels cars needs almost no develompent nowadays. But i agree in once thing: this AMG wasnt designed to cross the Sahara or the artic, it was build for show, and if you really need traction you should choose caterpillar tracks wich is like adding hundred of wheels. IMO

+Cody Hodgson more wheels means more traction. this 6x6, (with the right tires) would be able to out perform ANY 4x4 you could pretty much do the Dakar rally in this right from the sales showroom lol

That's cute!!! Off road? Lol a local beach is hardly what you call off road. This machine is an animal and the best they can find is a beach with a hill a 1998 Toyota carola can get up in neutral

Seriously?? That was just 10 minutes of circles in a very cool truck. The only vids I can find on this rig being put anywhere NEAR what it’s capable of is some Russian dude in a black one seemingly being careful not to hit any branches. As soon as I take delivery, that thing is going for a REAL off-road adventure and it seems pretty obvious that I need to do a lot of video. No one wants to put a scratch on one what in fact these are INSANELY capable off-road. 🤨🤨

whats even funnier is the engineers at Merc were worrying about the wrong thing because the carbon fibre fenders stick out just as far as the mirrors but yeah, from what its based on, why remove the feature if its standard on the normal G

Carlitox b if you spend 625k on the vehicle, gas wouldnt be an issue, but i think more so 10 mpg. thing weighs 9000 lbs literally

+Dillon P Well, it already has a licence plate ( custom plates are 1000€ in belgium ), so its already registered and paid taxes. I assume this is not a demo car. Just a rich guy showing off for some rich "friends".
