Missing out talking about one of the major design points of the unimog! The chassis is cleverly engineered to flex and this improves off road articulation. The rear body is mounted in a special way to work with this. Watch the cab and the rear body move independent of each other. A very specific grade of steel was used for the chassis for this function. Best off road truck in the world!
If I am not mistaken the host is German (can't hide the accent) lady racing driver Ellen Lohr. Maybe some of you older folks are remembering her from her days in the DTM - Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft in the early 1990'ies. She was the only woman in the field that time and competing on the wing monster Mercedes 190E 2.5 - 16 Evo II against the cool boys like Keke Rosberg (father of prop next Formula One champion Nico Rosberg) or Klaus Ludwig for instance. She was in fact not a bad driver and in that role definitely better than the performance in this clip. Oh boy...like Sendung mit der Maus
I do that... Windows half to 3 thirds up, seat belts on and arms inside... Jeeez... Ever seen a rolled vehicle where the passenger had his arm outside?
Dawid Superszybki so no need to brake and what about clutch ??during that time ?its called engine braking right ?? and is it due to the vaccum produced that time around the piston that time ?? sorry i am not so good about engines :/
