I rang a garage to ask about them having a look at my car because the engine light is on. They said they would need the car for half a day to source the fault. Based on what I have just seen in your video, finding the fault is not a time consuming thing. The garage said they would just charge a fixed fee for the job so I don't think its that they are trying to rip me off. Any ideas of why they would need the car for half a day?
I guess this guy (channel owner) isn't into replying to videos. He also gave no hint as to what s/body could expect to pay for the repair. It sounded like he was pitching the tool to diagnose the problem only.
