Mercedes C200 CDI (OM646) S203/W203 EGR valve cleaning 

you can just take to plastic cover off the right hand end and clean the carbon dust out a oil it up and then see if it is working all in one go without taking it out .simple enough

Hello! Am having troubles with my own mercedes w211 with om646, loss of power and fault code 2359-1. I havent found any problem yet and will look into the egr, did you have any faultcodes?

Brother i have a w203 220cdi and i have same problem of egr , i watched some videos on RU-vid and i have done the same job that you also did.But after 2 week i have got the same problem that egr is not working any more and the engine light in on also. And when i have done diagnosis it show the error P0404 , P2062, P2014. Can you please help me!!!

how long did you leave engine running before remove valve ? Because I tried remove it with cold engine and it was impossible :-)

How many kilometers was the car when you did this?

That Red cap îs from The automatic transmission fluid.

Do you pass ex. emision test with that car?
