Thanks for the video. On the A207 convertible there is an additional screw behind a small plastic cover that writes AIRBAG on it. If you haven't broken the wood veneer part and it only just started to peel off do not try to remove it completely it will break towards the end like it looks on this C207 here. Remove the panel and glue the laminate veneer back with some JB Weld epoxy - you will need some weight while the glue sets on it to follow the contour.

Appreciate the gesture but totally useless in How to Actually Remove the panel. PS: The panel is identical to the 2011 E350 Cabriolet which I believe is a type W212, though MB themselves seem to get confused a lot.
