The Rivian R1S did that tank turn movement more than 4 years ago and BYD YangWang U8 can do that too. Its quite a basic thing every quad motor is able to do. Mercedes isn't really the pioneer of this tech.
And that's logical: you could also do this on dry tarmac, but you'd obviously need to tired afterwards. This function is made for offroading, so it doesn't try matter anyway.
Conveniently the ground is wet - you can actually see water getting spit up in the air. So can this maneuver only be done in the wet or dirt? I want to see this done on dry pavement!!!!
