I am sure this will help some Benz owners to find the fault and fix it as I know the non-functional headrest adjustment is a common issue across most early 2000 Mercedes-Benz. Cheers. Max
that was an easy fix, well done. A couple of things, bloody Mercedes could have used coloured screws for the base of the back rest, the wiring from the motor looks like it is close to the head of the spring, could be a pinch point, also I have sprayed my headrest rods with a bit of silicone spray just to make it a bit easier to go up and down.
Your thinking process is so logical. Can't imagine if you bring to mb dealer. Do you use mb xentry for diagnosis or your common sense? Amazing presentation as always 💯
Thanks !! I have an issue with the ac in my clk500 passenger side ac is cold but on the driver side the ac just push some ambient air. it is warmer than the other side. I think it a flap issue but I dont know where it is.. Could you help me for that and maybe make a video on this issue ? Thanks again
My headrest can go up but not down. Goes down if I pull the tab to fold the seat up and wait but then revert back to high position.. Any idea why it wont go down using the button on the door?
