Got my EQA last week, night black, leather black and AMG line, just beautiful! I have not regretted my purchase decision, the driving experience is simply a dream!
I'v had my EQA250 for two years now and would not swap it for any other make of electric vehicle the ride is just excellent and the battery range although is not the same as a 2024/5 model who cares my car gets me to wherever I need to go and although i don't travel about the country much I charge from home 50 weeks a year and it coats less than £2 from half full charge to nearly fully charged. The only problem I have experienced is with the Thatcham alarm throwing a benny occasionally but is soon clears i've had both rear and front bumper collision warming in the messages while the car is on my driveway.
Good review Derek. The car looks quality but a bit bland maybe pretty decent battery size and range. Probably better value cars available even the Q4 Etron 40 looks better value 🤔
Thanks for the comment J. The designers definitely didn't want to ruffle any feathers. Will have a 1st impressions video for the Q4 e-tron out on Thursday.
Thanks for the review, Derek! Beautiful car. However, It seems Mercedes chose the safest and most conservative approach to EVs. Makes me appreciate VW and Ford much more.
Great review, very nice car. I like the physical buttons/controls, and the UI seems straightforward and responsive. I also like the inclusion of Apple Carplay/Android Auto. 56K for that seems better than I was expecting.
@@NevoEVReviewIreland - I’m in the US, specifically Texas. Our driving distances are much longer here, and public DCFC infrastructure still lacking, so my next EV will likely be a Tesla Model Y, which is cheaper here than in Europe, and has a pretty good Supercharger network.
Thanks Derek, Great Review. Love the way the touch screen can be used without touching the actual screen by using physical steering wheel mouse controls or wrist pad. MBUX tactile interface is excellent, rented one for 4 days recently in the UK so really got comfortable with all intuitive safe controls. Lovely quality car. Love the interior. Tesla are not close to being on the same page for quality/comfort/function. AMG cosmetic bits didn't catch my eye, no functional difference. The dashboard and MBUX U/I excels. This car ticks a lot more boxes compared to ID GTX, Q4 and Model Y
@@NevoEVReviewIreland yes we had a look at EQB when ordering EQA but found it too big and boxey so not as efficient - 7 seats??. EQA even as an ice platform was more efficient and big enough for two retired folk, also Imho EQA is really good looking in a refined way, no bling, no boxey edges.
Nice review of a car that I would expect to seat comfortably 4 people, but that is not the case, anyway a very nice car, out of my price point. Thank you.
