Spark plug change DIY for most of the W163 series ML's ranging from 1998 to 2005
**Please pay attention to applied torque while tightening the spark plugs into the cylinder heads. Overtightening can cause the plugs to break and ruin the engine.

Good job ! but its best to do plugs with a torque wrench, then you wont need to guess ;) btw the engine is the M112, the M113 is the V8

thanks for the video. i want to ask why you replaced the intake filter? whats wrong with the old one?

I did it mainly for the induction noise @chimwilson. It sounds really good under wide open throttle. Feels like it gives more power on the top end. I've had it over a year and had zero issues.

Why you remove the valve cover?

I did two different jobs at the same time, replaced valve cover gaskets and the spark plugs!
