Mason is a naturalized U.S. citizen, having taken the citizenship test in April 2016. In addition to English, Mason speaks French, Spanish, and Persian; however, on the Swedish talk show Skavlan on 30 September 2016, she declared that she no longer speaks Swedish, but she does still understand it.
