Hands down, this is the best video on RU-vid on how to. Can you also do a video on how to replace the transmission fluid, I would love to see how to do it. Thank you so much!!!
Late model transmissions are tough. They are sealed and not meant to be changed like the old days. In fact, the owner's manual for my Aston Martin says "sealed for life". But I have talked to a transmission mechanic about this. Once you get some miles (like over 75k), you don't want to do a complete change. There are some RU-vid videos that address the problems that can be encountered. But as I've been told, a flush that doesn't change all the fluid but rather mixes the old with some new seems to avoid these problems. I'm not planning on doing anything to my GLE and I have 125k on it.
My 2022 GLE 350 has a very strong chemical smell from the a/c that comes and goes. Will changing the filters fix that? I was reading somewhere else that it's the condensation that builds up and I should turn off the AC after I get to my destination and let the fan run for five minutes to dry it out. Does that sound right?
