We've driven the BMW X5M, now it's time to compare it to its most direct competitor! Which Sports SUV Should you buy?
3 years ago today I created and uploaded my first video on this channel! (Fun fact: this is actually not my first channel or video :)

I have an 2014 ML63 with Weistec ECU and TCU tune. Also deleted the resonator. It's a beast.

The reason for the “slow gearbox” effect is because on manual mode you stepped off the gas pedal so the gearbox got confused.. keep flooring it in manual mode and shifts will become faster and more aggressive.

Hey mate! So I did do that before and it was just bouncing off the limiter. The gear changes were quick I just found the response from the shifters very slow, it was rather strange! Thank you so much for watching 😄😄😄

Having the suspension in sport plus you will notice a difference. The ML63AMG is a luxury sport vehicle.

Fortunate enough to have one of these beautiful beasts Had a few Mercedes now , but this one , is Very much a keeper! I enjoy it so much , it makes me forget about the fuel consumption 👍🏻

Great vide, yip I have one of these cars, that transmission takes some getting used to, its not a DCT but instead the 7speed Gtronic with torque converter. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_7G-Tronic_transmission?wprov=sfti1

I have the same ML 2012 model 3.5 petrol, let me tell ya it turns heads 🔥 I bought it at 28 now turning 30 💪🏼 an absolute beast

X5 and ml transmission are completely different. X5 it’s more superior in gearbox. Even in day to day x5 the shifts are more instant and comfortable. The ml takes forever to downshift or upshift

It is not a dual clutch transmission. It is an automatic transmission with a wet clutch set up

Hey mate! Firstly thank you so much for watching! So when I was doing the research on it, all the Australian review and spec websites said it was a DCT. According to you and about 10 other comments turn out they were all wrong 😂

I own a 2014 ml 63 and without offending no one you don't know how to drive it My shift in manual is super fast close to double clutch transmission

My only issue is delay on gas pedal when turning or when rolling stop which I hope it goes away with a stage 1 tune

If this AMG is the same model year as the X5M, then the BMW is better - all around. 👍

Probably one I would disagree with all in because of ride comfort! The Mercedes is so much nicer to drive. 😊

I tested a x5m and X6M. The ML63AMG is more comfortable ride in my opinion. However, the BMW I listed are more track focus. I haven't had the opportunity to test drive a GTS.
