I marked out! I was also laughing at some of the comments 😂. Some “fans” genuinely think that the WWE homegrown talents have to stay with WWE no matter what they go through there, or even if they’re not feeling fulfilled there anymore for their own reasons. The wrestling loyalists make it seem like we all have to pick a side. Baby this is not The Barbs vs The World… it’s wrestling. Enjoy the ride. Very proud of Mercedes ❤

The thing is she's not a WWE Homegrown talent. She wrestled for almost 2 years on the indies before she signed with WWE, because at the time it was Divas Wrestling and they were getting 30 second matches, and she wanted to be a Wrestler with a Capital W. WWE noticed her because of Snoop, and also the fact that she was that young, that green and STILL putting on bangers. Her I Quit Match against Alesha Edwards was great and still probably Alesha's best wrestling match to date.

@@charlieflickinger7372ehh I’d still consider her wwe homegrown- her whole presentation reeks of it. AEW considers a number of their indie darlings homegrown talent bcuz although they may have been out there already they truly developed their skills, persona & popularity thru AEW television. This is even more particular for the ones who were there from the beginning.

It can be both, yes AEW does need her but if she needs more Money and freedom to do outside projects than WWE was willing to give her that can be a mutual need she is satisfying as well. She's fantastic but she was probably going to be slotted behind Rhea, Becky, Bianca and old WWE that typically holds grudges might have put her even lower behind Liv, Io, and possibly even Tiffany. As money as Jade looks she still hasn't proven she can work consistently great matches yet, so she would probably be above Jade. The irony was when she left even Rhea was slotted higher than her and she was going to be fed to her while a tag champ and now Rhea isn't even a wrestler anymore.

i’m so glad that the women’s division is finally gonna get to have a break out year. we’ve all seen how aew has honestly failed the women with consistency and over all booking since its inception, it also hasn’t helped how every major named that got signed to save the division was booked poorly a week after debuting practically. Mercedes is gonna elevate this show to new levels and is gonna be the glue of the division for the years to come

The theme song wasn’t my fav but damn it got me hyped! I can’t imagine how it was for the crowd that was there in person. I think it’ll be great for right now while she’s face. And then she can switch it out when she turns heel.

She is revolutionizing the business as a whole. She is showing that the talent is what people want to see they don’t care where you are. This is really interesting. And I know she’s said from the start, she wants to go everywhere, but seeing it actually happen is surreal cause now she’s got wwe,nwjp, and aew. I knew they were advertising her all over AEW, but apart of me still was looking at the story line on WWE with Bailey and Kairi and I was thinking it’s set up so Sasha could come back and Naomi being back had me thinking they would come back and face the kabuki warriors and win the tag team titles and help Bailey take down Damage control.. Naomi watching Baileys videos made me think that more! I’m happy she’s on AEW where she will get more promo time and be able to grow.. I’m just not used to her being at AEW yet..

It would be nothing but more of the same with her in WWE. She has fresh matchups and something different in AEW. It's nothing but rematches galore in WWE that's been done a thousand times over.

I’m sooooo excited she’s back she’s definitely my favorite wrestler. She looked like a motherf***king boss, and the outfit change was chefs kiss. I love her so much. As for her theme I couldn’t really hear it with all the CEO chants. I think she’s rapping on this theme of I’m not mistaken. Anyway the crowd loved her and so did I I’m ready to see what happens next with Mercedes Moné

I'm very nervous, all I can think about is how AEW signed so many talented women only to squander their talents after the first week through poor booking/no storylines/very little time on shows. I still feel like their booking for their women's division is lacking despite having so many amazing women. HOWEVER, Mercedes is such a huge star that hopefully it will be the wake-up call they need, and incentivize them to give more time to the women! Ngl I thought the same thing would happen after Saraya's debut, but it didn't as much as I thought it would, so hopefully this is the time for the rise of the women's division!!

I'm glad to see her back! It's a little weird to see her in another promotion without the other Horsewomen and without Trinity/Naomi, but hopefully AEW will manage to give her the spotlight she deserves! It will be interesting to see her working with Saraya, considering that even nowadays there are people blaming Mercedes for her temporary retirement (despite Saraya herself repeatedly stating that it wasn't Mercedes's fault at all). Hopefully with both women working together, these people will finally realize that there is no problem between them.

Oh, also, whenever the Mercedes/Saraya feud happens at AEW, hopefully it will be a balanced feud with both women winning some matches and losing other matches. It was kinda frustrating that when Sasha Banks debuted on WWE's main roster, Paige ended up repeatedly jobbing to her; then, some years later, when Paige returned with Absolution, it was the other way around, with Sasha repeatedly jobbing to Paige...

I unfortunately never got to see Sasha Banks. I got back to WWE royal rumble 2023. So i missed her prime 😢 Never watched AEW, but omg her debut was so epic. With that badass Gunther intro in her theme ❤🎉 now im excited to see Mercedes and get into AEW 😮 CEO! CEO! CEO!

I have to say, the song grew on my in the time of the show. (: by the end I was really vibing. also it really reminds me of Gunther, because he also has this beginning. And I am curious who the rapper for the song is. I kind of think it must be someone famous because Mercedes is such a star and has the connection to the hip hop world.

My gosh… This episode of Dynamite was *chef’s kiss* to have an entire episode dedicated to a WOMEN’S WRESTLER was so surreal to see! This truly is the biggest star women’s wrestling has ever seen! We all know Mercedes is a monstrous heel and her best work has been done as a heel. But I believe in the timing, Mercedes is just WAYYY too over right now to be a heel. The crowd is way too behind her and they would just cheer every time she hits the screen. If she really has signed a multi-year contract there will be plenty of time to build her character and turn her heel when the time is right.

I like this theme better, it hyped me up while she was making her entrance and the crowd just immediately started chanting it, it felt electric. I also really liked her gear and the speech. It was only natural after so much speculation that she would return as a baby face in Boston, and I do feel she could genuinely make that division great with her as a centerpiece. Britt, Deanna, Toni Storm, etc, all of them can get elevated once they match up with Mercedes.

I actually thought that she will be coming back to wwe that is why when I first saw the video I thought it was a fan made. But the feeling is surreal, knowing she is one of the wwe four horse women. I just felt like wwe could have done better. But aftermath Mercedes need to do this in order for wwe company attention on how they treated women when it comes to booking, promo and eveb payment. Im here for Mercedes Mone for AEW and this will be a true revolution.

While she’s in AEW, I can see Mercedes coming to aid Bayley at WrestleMania for some reason 🤔 her AND Naomi, but that still leaves one extra spot open to level the playing field against Damage Control / Kabuki Warriors. It’s too early for Charlotte Flair, but we’ll have to wait and see…

There's a lot of feuds she can potentially have in AEW. But I hope they don't rush any of them and give the women time to build them and let Mercedes boost up the other women like she wants to.
