I chose this car for my colleague, and there was a budget and needed car to have ASAP, but in the end car ended up with me, and colleague has Kia Ceed. Otherwise I would get widescreen cockpit for sure 😉

Im so tired of disable lane assist every time..u cant save the settings in your profile.So every time u start the car it is enabled..it gets me every time i drive, so i almost get a heart attack of the breaking, when i cross the white lines.btw great videos👍

Thanks! You need to have active route guidance for augmented reality navigation to work. Second one is distronic, you should have it on the left side of the steering wheel, it's like adaptive cruise control.

Thanks Ivan, this is indeed a very useful video, much more comprehensive and practical compared with the 'owner manual' I have one question, I have nothing uploaded in navigation system (no maps available) do you think this is standard feature or just the dealer in my country wants 'extra money' to install maps, when this is mandatory to download to cars per country (in my case Argentina)? Unfortunately here is common to get a product and then undercover costs per features/things originally installed in all countries. Thanks for your reply.

Difficult for me to say how the options are positioned in Argentina. Look into the spec sheet of your car should be there something like "hard drive navigation"

@@IvanSensei Thank Ivan, I called the dealer and they replied car configuration to our market even to ´progressive version is requested without navigation systems which with all respect I consider ridiculous! I can understand 'saving' in non fundamental parts and accessories, however, navigation system is the core of MBUX. I am VERY disappointed!

I understand, if you have apple carplay or android auto try to use that, I really like Waze navigation app, not sure if it's used there too. Or Apple/Google maps

@@IvanSensei Thanks Ivan, I tried the application from android for google maps, however, I believe Mercedes navigation system is nicer and completed. I will keep trying claiming for installation to my car dealer, until the point of reaching Mercedes Argentina or Germany if necessary (the voce of the customer needs to be listened) Best!

Hi Ivan. Can you skip to next track/change the radio station using the buttons on the steering wheel while none of the two displays has the media/radio selected? E.g. if the navigation is displayed on both of them, can you skip track using the steering wheel only? Thanks! Very comprehensive video!

I don't think you can do that. Just by swiping on the pad on central console. Or maybe you can say "Hey Mercedes, next track", but I never tried that actually! Thanks Marius, glad to hear that!

Ivan, I noticed on mine. The picture of a call with a ballon for navagation just popped up. I have no idea what I did for it to appear., Nect to the ''me'' symbol. Not sure if I can change this. The manual doesn not show the info on this.

Never happened to me, I waited in car for at least an hour and no shut down, only time when I experience this is in showroom when people play with infotainment system all day long and car doesn't drive at all so battery is never charging by driving

If you buy that option then yes! In some markets you have only full screens option, here you start with both small screens and then you can opt for more. My new A220 has both screens large

They should active automatically, but in the settings you can set different audio levels for sensors

Depends which cable do you have. You need Lightning to USB-C cable, this is now with new iPhone 11 Pro, or you can buy one separately for like $25. There are some adapters for classic USB-A cable but I find dedicated cable to charge phone faster.

U have to buy an upgrade network package of course..I apperantley have the wrong codes, so my system cant be upgraded to apple car play or android auto, like the ones there is standard in the cheap cars🙈🙄

I see car configuration may vary depending of countries or just series manufactures with more or less features/accessories. In my case I have no maps at all, so navigation system does not work!!!

@ng5671 Hello, not only sad no navigation. MBUX without navigation is useless of just a toy to switch on/off lights, AC, and a couple more things.... Honestly, I can't find and explanation for such a lack of common sense by Mercedes Benz Argentina.
