not sure if u a merc registered garage but great video------------i got my part myself at his request and got it wholesale as i do electrical wortk 4 suppliers-i not a mechanic but have a snap on scanner which told me fault before i took it to a guy locally-never used him before-he does jobs after work and has a lift in his garage---------left it at 6-collected at 8.30-told me it was a big job---not according to your video-----i asked what do i owe u--------£150 but 4 cash £140 will do--felt it was steep----------my normal guy was off due to death in family-i asked him this morning how much to change the nox sensor and clear codes and run a full scan (yes i could scan it myself)-he studied for a minute said it was a pretty simple job-------£50 all in-i rest my case
great video. I have a mercedes c class w205 2015 year, c 250 diesel. I cleaned the adblue injector . he turned on the check engine light. p220162 The NOx sensor (cylinder bank 1) has a malfunction. The Signal Cimparmision is Faulty. when I clear the error it is gone for 20-30 days or 50-60 kilometers and then it appears again. how do I know which sensor it is, upper or lower, what should I do?
Hi . I have same problem i guess . Just the amber engine light came on and obd2 checked it says p229f nox sensor bank 1 sensor 2. Will change the sensor only solve the problem?
Thanks for the great video. I think I have the same problem with my E class. If I want to do a DIY job myself, do you mind telling me which OBD tool are you using? THanks
Most OBDll readers will do this. I have a Streetwize one which I bought from Euro Car Parts. It cleared the code fine. The reader may say to do it with ‘Key Off’ but it always does and clears it anyway.
i have a 2015 mercedes w212 e400 (petrol) with NOX sensor issues (both needs replacing), can i just map them out? is it ok to drive with this issue? my country doesnt have any emission controls etc...
as there are many people deactivating adblue it should be okay... Maybe you need adblue decoded by professional because it might enter limpmode and drive not fast any more that would be shit
Is this the same on a mercedes-benz vito 2017. I have someone who fitted it but he did not have the software to do that. I bought thr sensor from Mercedes-Benz. I had adblue malfunction message come up and then it said emp op in 490 miles first amd then the sensor was changed but the message did not go away
Diagnostic charge say £100 part cost £475 hours labour to fit 75 consumables charge. Also rember your paying for someone's knowledge tools building rates so yeah 700 is a complete fair price.
I did the same as you, replaced the Nox sensor not being original but I think it needs a strong computer to restart the settings of the vehicle so the car understands the new sensor 😢
@@gestivlore7835 mos ndoshta ka noj shkputje teli! Para se tja nderroja sensorin ja fshija vet codin me ane te nje kompjutri te vogel qe kam por i dilte prap drita e motorrit! Tani qe ja kam vu sensor te ri drita rri ndezur nuk hiqet fare dhe me kan the kta te servisit qe duhet kompjuter i fuqishem qe ti bej restart dhe ta njof makina sensorin e ri qe i kam ven! Ma ka Ça trapin me te then te drejten. Te pershendes uroj qe ta rregullosh, edhe per mu ky eshte benzi fundit ma ka prish shume me kto sensorat
I have a mercedes-benz vito 2017 and I have replaced one nox sensor 1 and got it programmed but then the nox 2 failed so got it changed but do you have to get it programmed eg learn and rest again or does it have to be programmed it again because ir the second nox sensor. I was told by the mercedes when I bought the part.
they are made by siemens and vitesco all over the world cz,de, india, china ,usa , but all sensors made by ngk ntk japan, no one needs to replace entire nox sensor, only the sensor which can be soldered to your old ecu and you have once again oem sensor in your car! They talk about green world to you .... these hypocrites
