How hard can it be to mention you need to put key in first on mode so not mode before start. Otherwise it won’t work. So: Key on just one click (not two!!) Press and hold ok and right call button for 3 secs Voila there is the service menu
🙏🏻 THANK YOU!!! My 2007 S got stuck in first or second gear under 40 mph - like, 100+ miles away from home. AAA’d my monstrous beauty to the mechanic’s show who told me: “this and that was faulty” without any proof (I want to see those codes myself) - each time I feel completely powerless to the notion that customers have to LEGAL RIGHT TO VERIFY its true. Auto companies MUST EMD THIS “secret stuff” tradition and make the code available to be viewed by both, the owner of the car, and the repair shop. The auto repair’s mechanics aren’t Gods - I want to be able to know 100% they aren’t playing games by overcharging. Going to write the (official) letter to M.Benz - their century-long, lame “tradition” to exclude their customers from understanding what is wrong, needs to end - for good. JUST REALIZED THIS simple and logical solution to stop the auto services’ from over-changing shady practices.
