I added a 1997 W140 coupe (C140) CL420 we found in Spain 44k kms on it. Love the size of the coupe's 2 door body style..reminds me of my parents 1971 Cadillac Eldorado personal luxury coupe. @@hwyterrorist

All the work was done at Crown Mercedes Benz in Dublin Ohio Over $20,000 worth of work The evaporator core that was done twice on my W140 was 28 book hours at the Mercedes We can add trunk closing assist died , two of the window regulators and the switch over valve that actuated the blend doors Perhaps I would have had a better situation at an I depended my dealer versus a Mercedes Benz dealer service

Never buy luxury diesel lol haha. I have a petrol one, 0 repairs done 😏

@@doggSMK The diesel Mercedes in the 1980's in the United States were legendary....easily 500K automobiles. In fact they still bring a lot of money on the used car market. However...the 3.5 was not a winner and I have heard the recent blutec were not either. I owned a W126 and W124 diesel that were incredible cars before I bought the W140 My particular W140 had other issues as well..the AC evap core , a 26 hour job at the Mercedes dealer, had to be done as well. I found out that this was the 2nd time it had been done on my car....so a lot of issues and people I saw at the dealer with the W220's at the time were having a lot of issues as well.I saw many of them being towed in with airmatic suspension issues

@@turnne well, yeah the OM606 turbo was legendary diesel (the diesel 2JZ). 😁 I guess you was just out of luck. In my country there is a saying: to get a good car and good wife you have to be lucky 😂
