Hello my orthodox brother Love the videos you post I have the spare ASR module that I got from another S600 1995, I was lucky to find one for only $100 (guy duidnt know what its worth) My 1995 S600 has a solid ASR light on. Can I swap the modules and see what happens or dont poke the german bear in the asss.

M120 does idle rev fluctuate how to fix that problem ?

!!!! so the Flybywire system is universal kindof for mercedes.they use it in all cars? im trying to diagnose my own car I have HHT and I have Xentry with WIS ive been reading researching and scouring the internet to find a definite answer as to why my cars in limp mode. I will post another video soon but if you dont mind just click on, most recent video. hard limp mode. Im 75% sure its the TPS accelerator sensor thats connected to the flybywire thst goes electronically to the throttle body?

My 1993 500SL (M119 V8) with 131,000 miles has started going into this limp mode and the ASR light comes on. Pretty much just like this but nothing else is affected. I’ve just been shutting the car off and restarting it - it goes back to normal. At first it was happening every 800-miles or so. Now it’s happening more often. So what’s my problem? Is it the throttle position sensor or something else? More than one thing seems unlikely but for you guys who’ve experienced this problem before and resolved it, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Hey how can the vacuum air leaks be fixed? As my throttle needle also dances a little bit on idle.

Hi vsandvs, I have W140 S600 1994 year. Last month I started to see ASR light on on my dashboard and the car is in limp mode, obviously. I have the error more than once a day now. Can you help me to give some check list to find a problem? I know tht better to get computer and make check all issues in the computer, but I don't have it and it's pretty difficult to find such service arround. Also I really love the car and I would like to know what is going on under the hood to be more clever next time and do some fixes by my self. Thanks for answer.

I see that its spewing oil from the muffler, bad head gasket? As my car also got oil from the muffler and in the coolant and leaking from the engine.

Why is the idle higher/engine rougher in Limp mode? Are the MAF's/Lambda sensors not used when in Limp mode?
