Thank you for including the detail picture of the small chip that is in there. I must have dropped it when moving the integrated circuit but missed that little black chip. Seeing this in your video helped me fine it and now the car starts fine.
Helpful video. Two things would make ir better: 1) You show the light plastic bracket being removed, but not being replaced during reassembly. 2) You should recommend that someone try the key before super gluing it...and also indicate not to super glue the battery compartment as you'll need to change batteries at some point.
Exactly. Total BS video. The fob are really hard to get apart. He obviously took it apart and then just snapped it back together before making the video so that it would come apart easily during the demo. FAKE!
@@wiktorwolny that's the battery compartment. The actual shell is very hard to get off on mine. Been prying and shoving screwdrivers in between it for 30 minutes and it's still not going anywhere.
After removing the battery shell, there is resistance in opening the rest of the case. Can I safely keep prying to open it? I don't want to force it and damage anything.
I got a small hack saw and carefully hacked around the remote. But don't cut thru tho just enough to weaken it's structure then pry it open with a flat screw driver.
This video is so fake.... First the case is glued together hard, it doesn't just come apart like that. Also the chip is glued in too. Very easy to mangle the battery contact plate doing this.
ao montar ele coloca o chip mas não coloca a peça branca de plástico que serve de base para a placa eletrônica da chave. Esqueceu e não foi macho prá refazer o vídeo reconhecendo o êrro.
