I took off my steering wheel to restore it and now the SRS light stays on.I have watched videos of replacing steering wheelsvbut they don't address the problem with the SRS light and how to reset it.BTW my car is an R129.
Thank you for sharing with us. I need to know who you bought it from, is it a manufacturer or a person. I also like the cup holder/tray you have installed. Is it an after market part? Do you have a video for it? Thank you
I have a 1991 Euro W140 S600 w/ 70,000 miles on it. It's a factory Lorinser car. Very very cool IMHO. I've owned it for 6 months now and have made it as perfect as I know how. I have 1 issue left. I swapped an AMG style wooden steering wheel into it and the grounding method for the horn is different on the new wheel. It shorts my horn out. The horns work perfectly. It's the grounding method on this one year is different. I need anybody's help that has an idea on how to solve the grounding issue.
Hey Pete; I can't seem to find the/a video of how and what you did to get the sunroof liner replaced. My '99 S320 needs replacing and I am mechanically challenged. I sure could use some tips and advice. Thanks!
So mine was so destroyed and caught up on system I ended up cutting it out and making a new one. I made a video but now I'm going to re do what I did in a new video coming out soon
Here is the link to the video I made. The correct thing to do is remove the entire top but it's a lot of work and at the time I didn't have a lot of tools and workspace ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-655jASERP_8.html
I got them from diamondcarmats.com but I did a video on them as well. Keep in mind they don't only lost 98 and 99 for the w140 so I took the risk and ordered the 98. They cancelled my first order because I told them I had a 95. Then I decided to order again and tell them I had a 98. They asked for photos of rear and then proceeded to custom make. They fit perfect
So all amg (pre mercedes owning), brabus, renntech, febi billstein and well pretty much any part made by different manufacturer are fake? That's a really dump response. Almost all aftermarket items are from other companies including what's used by that company.
My comment to Salvatore is, what does fake and real have to do with it, those wood steering wheels are hella nice, his video isn't for the OEM dips (like yourself) the video is great and he's plugging a great seller....my comment to Pete is you lost some torque using the extension on the gun, I learned that the hard way even with a reducer ext....great video chief, I have 3 w140's 600sel, 500sel and a cl500 and that wheel will compliment them all
