Mercedes W201 190E, W124 ABS problem. 

This is great! ABS light might also occur from a failed OVP relay (behind the battery) - had this problem myself, also with the relay had to change every fuse in the fusebox to get the car running again. Hope this helps someone, this was a pain in the ass back when I had this problem.

I learned for the first time from this video that there is a relay inside the lid of the ABS. It was helpful. thank you.

Oh sir thank you very much you saved my ass! A half year ago I bought a S124 and the ABS light was constantly shining. I tested all components I knew from my former profession as car mechanic ( 18 years ago) without any success. The former owner didn't know ( haha) anything about this fault. Then in my frustration I watched your video and guess what ??? I found a relay in the door panels and as I looked it was from the ABS unit. So I put a used one in the unit and the light isn't on after starting. This helped a lot ,again thank you very much sir I will pray for you! May God bless you a thousand times. Now I hope that I can register the cat this month and drive it finally!

You start the video off with the relay out and the engine running, so of course the light will be on. When you put the relay back the light will obviously go out. What about actual troubleshooting steps to test the components of the abs like the road signal, Hall sensor, etc? I assume there is some correlation between the ABS and cruise control as I have noticed mine stopped working around the same time the ABS light is on.

Ok this is of course a problem fixed ... alas there is another reason that the ABS light comes on.. this happens often on the W201 W124 and a few others,,, whilst driving u may not notice u do not have one of ur brake lights working, and believe it or not having one of your brake light bulbs not working will turn the ABS light on, on the dashboard, so in conclusion if u have a relay and u think its ok go check the brake bulbs,,,,, safe driving...
