MERCEDES W221 C216 S550 CL550 ELECTRONICS RESETTING RESTARTING RANDOMLY
Random instrument cluster restart/resetting and electronics sometimes not working on my 2007 Mercedes S550 was caused by a low voltage rear battery, car started up fine with low voltage battery because starter is run by the front starter battery not on rear one.
Rear battery was old and only read 7 VOLTS, installed a new fully charged battery and problem was solved.

It was the bad battery ! Replaced the battery today and a lot of things started working properly again , to anyone with a glitchy S class you might just need a new battery

I had 120 electrical codes show with the scanner and it was doing this. I replaced the auxiliary battery and other battery and it fixed it all

Did you have to open the door with the actual key and was the dash flashing like in this video at the beginning

My gas gauge meter stopped reading on my S550.. is it the rear battery also?

Thanks I’m going to trying this for my 2008 S550 I have to unlock the driver door with the physical key and then insert the key but it will reset and cut off powder untill I turn on the engine

@@ageotanase5924 Yea honestly if the battery is failing in a Mercedes it’s going to causes alot of warnings and issues, that’s the first thing you should do is replace to battery

I have changed the rear battery I still have the same problem
