Mercruiser Impeller Changeout 

Changing the impeller on my 2006 Mercruiser 6.2 MX Horizon. This is the standard motor on many mid size cruisers like my 341 Meridian sport bridge.
This raw water pump is difficult to get to sandwiched under the motor and behind the cool fuel module. We can either disconnect all the hoses and pull the entire pump or keep in place and just pull the pump cover to access the impeller. I opted for the latter due to difficulty reaching the pump hoses and drain lines for the air purge system.
