Just ONE BIG QUESTION: How Come The Outboards On This Boat Are Jumping All Over The Place At Speed Rather Then Being Smooth And Steady. I Watched Similar Power Cat Videos Of Freeman, Insetta, Invincible, and others, many with even larger outboards, and all at speeds well in excess of 60MPH. On Every One of the other boats the outboards ran smooth and steady, they stayed firmly in place, unlike the Barker where the outboards were bouncing around like they weren't secured. This cannot be good for the motors. Other then this One Major Issue The Barker Looks To Be One Hell Of A Power Cat.
No sound, these Mercury engines are awesome, but the sound of the older 2.4 or the 2.5 Mercury Racing motors at 7500rpm is hair raising, while in twin configuration the screaming is glorious.
Looked like a great day to go fast in a Cat! Didn't see any evidence of spray on the windshield and you definitely weren't bouncing around as much as you would have been in your RIB back in Miami LOL
@@SRQboatingfishing Bullshit, there are tremendous forces on the engine and transom.. Wether it can handle it and how long it can handle it, are the key factors in a good vs great boat..

I still can’t believe how stable the thing is though. I mean those weren’t the biggest seas in the world but it looked like they were 2-3 with occasional 4? And man those outside engines take a beating going that fast, they were prob moving 3-6in from side to side!! Awesome awesome video though brother!!!
Nice video Alfred and also a very beautiful boat. Alfred can you start putting out the price for people like myself looking to buy a nice affordable boat in my price range of $150K please? I want a boat that I can take to the Bahamas with my family.
