I bought it. And just to help people out. I can mount it on my own, every time I go to the river. But I come very close to the River with my car. Just one meter away from it. And I put it on the boat transom from the water. So it's an easy lift. And yeah! She really flies! I m thrilled!
The 10/15 can be updraded to 20 with an ecu swap and restrictors(intake and throttle (10)) removed. May need to tune props. Thanks for the comparison. Going to upgrade the 15 we got.
Is 20HP motor really portable? I m considering buying it, but my biggest concern is weight. The issue is that I cannot keep it on the boat. Have to put it on every time I go on the river
I just bought the 20 hp Mercury outboard engine . If you’re not that strong you definitely need help to put it on. It’s pretty big . So far every time I put it on my inflatable boat my friends help me out .
I have the 20 horse that I cant leave mounted on the boat either so I take it off and put it on frequently. I weigh around 150 pounds and can handle it okay, but I try to carry it as little as possible.
Probably like their Suzuki competitors only different parts are the ecu and restrictor. The 15hp engine being nothing but a 20hp engine limited to 15 by the factory. Could be wrong, tho. It’s possible the 20hp units have stronger parts and higher quality control.
