as a libra sun and mercury I definitely struggle with the shadow aspects of people pleasing and avoiding confrontation. I really feel weighed down by others' opinions/energy sometimes especially in living situations. I am learning how I can protect my energy by setting boundaries and not being tooo flowy, as I naturally tend to be.

We like and need relationships but the reason why we speak diplomatically, with poise and grace is different. We’re trying to control the fall out or doing preventative damage control because we know how destructive or antagonistic people can be when they feel offended or angry. Ain’t nobody got time to be fighting with people when we have dreams and goals to actualize.

I definitely feel the "damage control" aspect quite a bit and seeing OTHER people say things in less delicate ways I cringe inside a lot... not because their words offend me (pretty much nothing does) but because it's like I instantly can see the potential aftermath and conflict that's going to come from it. I think as we can see "both sides" to everything, we can also see both sides of the spectrum between ACTION and CONSEQUENCE ... I don't know if it's true for other Libra Mercuries or because of other placements I have, but I think we're very aware of consequences to actions that other people don't see, which leads us to be very cautious in communication and "people pleasing" even if we don't REALLY care what people think about us, it's more of a need to keep things harmonious, happy, pleasant and peaceful, and we have the foresight to know what kind of things will disrupt that

Libra sun and mercury- I used to be an angry people pleaser. Maybe because of the Mars in Scorpio 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have no clue. But I stopped people pleasing and feel much better.

Having Libra Mercury with an Aries Moon/ Scorpio Sun has been a blessing. It's a great balance cause my other two placements demand honesty and zero fucks given yet Libra Mercury allows a graceful and fair delivery of it all so people aren't offended. Thank goodness I care about others feelings and be slow to react cause my Aries Moon has instant destroy now mode, rebuild later type reaction which last 5 minutes lol. Ive avoided committing many crimes of passion, all thanks to my Libra in Mercury lol.

I am a libra sun and mercury and the people pleasing aspect is SO true, I often wish I could erase that from my ways so I do keep an eye on it and work to keep it in balance. The devils advocate part for me brings out differing information that the person would not voluntarily offer if not for my presenting the opposite view for debate. It's so true, we are some how so concerned over relationships, it would make my heart feel so good if we could all just get along, lol.

All resinated with me. My mercury is in libra and so is my sun. Decision are hard but once I decide it’s the best choice, but I like getting other people’s opinions, it helps me to decide. And I do like deep conversation and talking to everyone. We all can learn from one another. Thank you for explaining. And yes, I always try and be fair because I want other to do the same with me. I hope my actions can influence people to do and be better people but sometimes I just gotta do what is best for me. As I am gaining more experience and getting to know thy self more, it has been easier for me to decide when I have to do what is best for me and when to be fair with others. Thanks for the video, some good insights in this position, some feedback: just think it´s not so much people pleasing as it is being diplomatic and the innate tendency to put oneself in others peoples sneakers, in order to be able to transmit any message avoiding to the maximum the awakening on any belligerent energy, but the energy of this position I believe has no problem with asserting itself as either does the equivalent in Aries, its just a different approach to the way it asserts itself, being more mindful of others and analyzing the most effective and less discordant way if getting a message through, but its a fist of steel in a silk glove have no doubt about it. ya boy here Loves your videos Jiggy Hippie, you poppen.

Devil's advocate means if everyone is against someone or something, you as a Libra stand up and don't give in to social pressure by going against that person or thing, you see their/it's side. You advocate. Not saying you don't like it so you can start a debate...it's advocating where others don't see. Respectfully.
