At 10:08 wasn't peeing and at 10:12 was peeing. Obviously you stopped recording for a while. May I ask how long it took to get enough water temperature before thermostats started opening? I assume that telltale didn't send any water until one of the two thermostats started opening.
@@josemariatrueba4568 good catch man! Yes I stopped and shut it off because the hose popped off at 10:09. It started peeing within 3-5 seconds. On the Optimax it flows through the block and then through the air pump then right to the pee hose.
@@OutboardDad Thanks for the superfast answer. 3 to 5 seconds is nothing compared with my at least 60 seconds on my non Optimax 1998 mercury 135hp. BTW... My year 2004 Mercury 15hp two stroke didn't pee until thermostat started opening but now it pees instantly because the last time I took it to this professional service they removed the thermostat unfortunately.
@@josemariatrueba4568 wow, yeah not a big fan of no thermostats myself. I believe there is. A reason the engineers designed them to run at a certain temperature
@@OutboardDad exactly. The evident reason is to avoid the engine to run below 60 or so degrees centigrade. Water inside should stay in the narrow range above 65 and below boiling at 100.
