The bolt that holds the anode in place needs to be removed in order to drop the leg and access the impeller, it’s got a small plastic cover over it. Peace
I am working on mine right now, when you go to the back of the lower unit and you pull that cap off and take that one bolt out you have another bolt going back up from the other way holding onto it. I still can’t get mine to pee after putting in new impeller and thermostat.
That sucks. I read something a while back about possibly a water pressure relief valve failing could cause an outboard not to pee and blockage in the line could cause that too. I can't remember the forum I read it on though or if it would apply to your motor. Have you tried checking for those?
@@AROoutdoors I have a 200 optimax, I’ll have to look into that. I really appreciate that!! So far we have looked at most of the lines and they are all clear, the impeller is installed correctly and new thermostat. That will be the next on my list to check.
@J-Plata-84 You bet! I'm not a ton of help, but my fingers are crossed that you can figure it out asap so you can get back on the water. It sucks having those issues, and I feel for you.
Thank you for your feedback. Can you help me out and explain more by telling me what you don't like about it and what I can do better? I'd like to be a better youtuber, so I'm open to suggestions.
