Mercury Outboard 4-stroke EFI 60 HP Model 2022 (GPS) 

Nice one! Just bought a new boat with one of these Mercury 60hp's, my first ever 4-stroke outboard. I've also found that just as in your video, a full-throttle hole shot produces the same results; a little lacking in torque & punch at first when compared to my old 2 cylinder 737cc Evinrude 55hp 2-stroke when you shove the throttle all the way forward to the stop, however once you build the revs up past 4000prm and adjust the trim the power on these 4-stroke, 1-litre inline four's then just suddenly comes on line all at once and then surges on all the way up to redline. . What has sold me on these EFI 4-strokes is the smooth, quiet running at lower RPMs and accompanying low fuel burn; the exact opposite of the smokey, spluttery, thirsty old pre-mix 2-strokes of old that were only ever really happy when running at three-quarters throttle plus.

Hi, I have same engine and on 6200 RPM I am loosing grip. Prop is speed fire. Trim is down.

Looking at upgrading my older model 16.5ft Crestliner Fishhawk which currently has a 50hp merc 2 stroke. Any guess for top speed with a 60hp EFI?

I’m 200 LB. Do you think that, that motor will pull my size water skier out of the water? I have a 17 foot boat, similar to that set up.

My Mercury 40 HP pushes my 15 foot to 64KM . I can’t imagine what that 60 would do on mine ! 😮

Hello from Turkey ... I bought 60 hp. but my friends said why didn't you buy japanese (yamaha-honda-suzuki or tohatsu). Mercury 40/50/60 is produced in China and they said it is of poor quality. what are you thinking? Did I buy the wrong engine😢

Wat verbruikt zon motor op deze boot ? En heb je tijdens dit filmpje antifouling op je boot ? Dit beperkt nogal wat snelheid
