For those people who want this theme now than the current one, it wont happen because Randy actually hated it, it reminded him of his past with drugs and alcohol
I'm so glad this is on the 2K14 soundtrack; the first thing I did when I started the game was to switch Randy's theme back to this, w/ the Legend Killer entrance that's also included (which is awesome).
Both of Orton's themes were absolutely perfect for the character he was portraying when they were introduced. This is perfect for The Legend Killer, while Voices was practically written for The Viper he became after WrestleMania 24.
I feel like this should be Cody Rhodes's song after he finishes being Stardust and maybe a feud with Randy to put him over. If you notice the stuff about the nebula, and stars, and burning in the light, it feels like a cool reference to the Stardust gimmick while bringing him forward into being Cody again, and it also makes sense since Randy was his mentor for so long.
theyoutubeloner And then he'll get to destroying the likes of today's 'legends' H, Rhyno, Jericho, Batista and all the RA superstars. Legend Killer reborn.
I know Randy hates this theme but I still love it. It made sense at the time when the song came out because he was done with evolution and was making a name for himself.
I like this theme more than the Voices theme, my favorite part of when he came out is that they use spotlights during certain parts when they put emphasis on the lyrics, it looked so cool on tv
There's only one legend the Legend Killer couldn't kill. No matter how many times he put him in a casket and set him on fire.I would love to see Undertaker vs Randy Orton at Wrestlemania XXX in a casket match.
I want this Randy back as The Legend Killer!!!!!! With a mix of The Viper!!! Mix these two songs to make it Burn In My Voices or something IDK!!!!! Come back with both characters at once
I think that since Brock beat Taker at Mania, he's a legend now (As much as I hate saying it) so it would be cool if the Legend Killer persona returns one last time to take down one last legend, or he could take out Triple H
What happened was is that, Orton hated Mercy Drive. He wanted his song to be, This Fire Burns by KSE. They let him have it for two weeks but changed to Voices because it didn't fit character. So, CM Punk's first WWE theme was the theme Randy Orton wanted.
Sorry to all of you but Orton can't do the Legend Killer gimmick anymore, because he is a legend himself. He is the 4th or 5th most legendary wrestler left behind Taker, HHH and, I hate to say it, Cena.
They removed it because his character changed, Orton did say he enjoyed the other song better than this one, but he wasn't the one who chose it. In fact, he said he always wanted Punk's old theme This Fire Burns, and even used it for one night, but WWE changed it. So it's not up to the wrestlers unless they have a lot of pull backstage.
MiniTV940 But what if WWE calls him and cena legends? Brock Lesnar, RVD who returns again, HHH still there even if he aint a wrestler, Basically the guys that been there since 2001 ect are called legends now. Randy would come out with this gimmick again to say he should be the only legend that stands tall.
Whatever happened, he didn't chose Voices himself, it was made for his new character at the time. Like I said already, wrestlers in general don't have the power to choose their theme songs.
he said he hate it so he changed it to this fire burns for 1 week(before cm punk debuted in wwe) then in late 2008 they finally found a song that matches his character and he liked it so he kept it
@DoorsFanatic95 i kinda agree cos its wierd how the fans are cheering him and he's still the same old viper we saw with legacy, he's still intent on bringing back the age of orton, but then again we want that cos he bring that animosity and fire that the fans love to see, i hate to say this but he could be bigger than the rock and stone cold
Because his character changed. This song is about a young star making a name for himself , Voices is about the coldhearted psychotic version of Orton. Look up some of Orton's last entrances with this song while in his Viper character, it looks weird. He does his slow predatory walk towards the ring, and you hear some dude screaming "Hey!". It just doesn't feel right. This is a great song that used to fit his old persona very well. His current one, not so much.
@pyrrusmaster OH MY GOD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD!! IS HE- HE IS!! STONE COLD STUNNER!!! OH MY GOD!!! BAH GOD, AUSTIN JUST NAILED HIM WITH THE STUNNER!!!
