Lately it seems I'm just trying to get by in this life. Trying to move past the struggle and live past the strife. The world has knocked me down and I can't put up a fight. The pain brings me to my knees so I bow my head and close my eyes. I'm just trying to do right but seems it always ends up wrong. It's hard to find your place when you feel you don't belong. When you never feel the love it's hard to stay strong. Wear my heart on my sleeve and it's bleeding through this song. I've never been the same since the day that she died. They said "you'll be ok just take everything in stride." Can't remember the week after like my memory was wiped. Literally shed so many tears until I felt empty inside. It's so hard to say the way I felt that day. When I walked in the room there my mother lay. But I know she went to heaven and feels no more pain. But when it all happened I thought I was going insane. I thought it was all a dream and I would come to. But that dream never ended like they're suppose to do. Thinking about it makes me want to cry. Cause I'm still contemplating why she had to die. I'm still reminiscing on all the good times. That we all had when she was still alive. I wish I could take back every time I told a lie. Every time I talked back and every time I made her cry. Nothing took the pain away not even getting high. So when I hit rock bottom I contemplated suicide. I got so fucking close honestly suprised that I'm still alive. Had that 9 to my head but all I could see was my momma's eyes. I was in my darkest hour but I couldn't give in. Had to find a way to escape out of this mental prison. Lift myself up of the ground had to make the decision. Eyes staring at the sky screaming Lord forgive me for my sins........
