I really adore how Mercy Me has never taken themselves too seriously. There are so many Christian groups (I won’t mention the one I’m thinking of but they’re the staple for Middle aged believers lol overly played on the radio). Mercy me has always had a spirit of silly and embracing it beautifully.

I get bullied at school I'm only 10 yr. old I listen to this song to keep my head up. Please pray for me Edit:it’s been six years since I commented and people still notice me. I’m still a stand firm Christian, trials and tribulations have done me good. I still listen to this music and it still keeps me up. It’s amazing to see everyone still reaching out after this time. I’ll be 17 next Tuesday. I’m ready for anything else life throws at me because I know if I cast my cares on Him, he WILL care for me. My worth is more than rubies and I am loved beyond human comprehension

TRUE STORY: I literally heard this song in my sleep. Visiting my Mother one weekend and I was in bed asleep...and she was watch one of her favorite Hallmark movies. This song came on and I literally got up and went into the room to rewind the television just to hear it so that I could figure out the words. Searched RU-vid until I found it and now I play it every single day all day! It's so refreshing and organic...it relates to my spirit and simply speaks to my heart divinely!🙌🏽❤🙌🏽❤🙌🏽❤

Just to let you know, this song has gotten me through some very tough times. It was one of the songs that really helped to bring me back to God when I started to lose faith. For my whole life I was told I wasn't good enough, to this day I still don't live up to certain members in my family...I was also sexually abused as a child and have suffered with it, but this song really helped me to realize that that wasn't my fault and that God still loves me and His opinion is the only one that matters. Thanks so much MercyMe for writing this amazing song.

I'm not even a Christian but I love this song. It reminds me of riding in the car with my mom. Last week I could only remember the chorus and she played it for me and I had a great time singing along with her in the car. Even for a nonbeliever the lyrics have meaning, and I think this song will always be on my list of favorites because it makes me think of mom.

I battled with drug addiction since I was 15 years old and at 44 I have been counted Holy, Righteous , and Redeemed and a chain that the enemy has had around my happiness has been not only broken but devoured by the Blood of Jesus and His Neverending Grace, Mercy, and Forgiveness. I cant describe the joy and love I have now for my One True God Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!!! Salvation is a FREE GIFT just by accepting what Jesus did for us on that cross 2000 years ago. Jesus died on that cross 2000 years ago for the sins of the world. He paid the price for our sins both Presents, Past & Future sins has been paid by Jesus's Death & Resurrection on that 3rd and glorious day. Only those who believe that Jesus died for them in their place will go to Heaven. For you are saved by grace and not works. James 2:10 says that you trying to keep the Law and break 1 commandment you are guilty of all. You don't work to keep your salvation. You work because Jesus loves you and he also died for you nailing your sins to the cross.

Love this song! and the video. I have struggled lately with how I pray..not my Faith in God, but that I don't pray 'Right'....I don't read prayers, my prayers come from my heart and although they aren't fabulous, moving prayers, they are from my heart and my heart has always believed and trusted Jesus. I have never in my 59 yrs ever questioned it until recently., but after listening to this song tonight, perhaps it is okay that I still pray my little prayers, cause He knows my heart and the rest of the world that thinks I should pray these really amazing prayers don't count.

Hi. I am 19 years old, I am currently in college. I have never self harmed, or done drugs. I live a great life. I know a lot of people have it worse than me but I have my own struggles. I am unsure what I am going to do in the future. It scares me. I get free classes for now until I am 21 but once I hit 21 if I don't know what classes I need to take. I fear I will just be wasting money we don't have. I was homeschooled for 7 years which caused some social anxiety. Not as often as when I was younger, and even last year, but sometimes I break done in public. Now I get the most anxiety when I am going somewhere new on my own or at school or somewhere with people my age. I spend my school days going in and going out without saying a word and no one says anything to me. I often feel lonely. I am working on making friends though, working on the anxiety which there has been Great improvement. My friend Arianna has depression, bulimia, addiction to sex and other things. She has overdosed more then once and has been in the hospital because of it. She is not there right now but just made a mistake, got drunk, and badly hurt her knee. She wants to get drunk again. I am scared she will and something worse will happen. I have another friend, Hannah, who self harms and deals with other stuff as well. She won't let me get close to her and help. I am not the only one she has pushed away. I wish she would call me or message me just to talk. If I didn't contact her every once in a while we would no longer be in contact at all. Since she does not talk to me I don't know what she is going through at this very moment but could use some prayers. Would anyone pray for me, and my friend Arianna and Hannah?

It took courage to post so honnestly. Dont loose hope and trust in the God of Isaac, Jacob, and Moses. You are not lost in His sight. I agree about school. If you loose school funding at 21, why not work? See what you like to do? Find what excites you. There will be no lost years. Many employers will also contribute to school. It is a lie that work and careers must be a burden and laborious. It is work, but it can still ne a delight.

happystrongpure *hugs* I'll pray for you & your friends honey. I want to tell you that all those feelings you have are normal. Homeschooling didn't hurt you one bit...I went through public schools. Of the friends I made there....I still know none of them today. Realize that school is a journey you're just passing through...it is not your final destination. :) You're feeling out of place? those feelings are normal. Here is the good news though: If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ - He lives inside you through His Holy Spirit. If you have committed your soul to Him...He is ALWAYS with you :) You have the best friend you could ever have right by your side whenever you need to talk to Him. If you don't know Jesus personally....ask Him to come into your life today! Start with a simple prayer just like you would to a best friend...because we were created to have a relationship with God - one of respect & love. We are told to pray without ceasing you see...living, breathing, praising God, seeking wisdom from Him, seeking strength to get through those uncomfortable times. When you are walking along to your class just say a prayer for peace & ask God to give you the joy for that day alone. He has never let me down if we keep our focus on Jesus and actively seek to make Him part of our life. Read your bible, seek out fellowship with other believers if you can. You can't fix your friends & they may never open their souls up to God, but you can show them through your life example how to live without drugs, without booze, without sex outside of marriage or any other sin that God would tell you is wrong for your life. He wants the best for you. Develop this relationship with God the same as you would your friends, your family, your loved ones...give Him your time. If you do, I promise He will fill those empty moments you are feeling, He will give you the confidence to face those awkward moments & fears. Friendship comes easier if you are full of joy & not needy but be the strong peace that so many people need. But trust me when I say you cannot fix your friends....You need to ask God to do that and ask Him what you can do to help. God bless you sweetheart. Read your bible everyday if you can for 15-20 minutes and pray before you read...ask God to speak to you....and He will. :)

so just now I had this intense craving for alcohol ( haven't had one in days) I was listening to a world song and somehow that brought it out so i turned to the word first and then to this song. When I tell the part were it goes "there'll be days i lose the battle... " brought me to tears being a Christian is one of the hardest things that anyone can do but knowing that the God who created all things lives in me and gives me all the strength i need to push through does something to my soul that my primitive human words cannot utter
