At 6:07 I did the same “WHAT ARE THOSE” instinctively and was perfectly synced up.

Cover the plastic on the lanyard with shrink tubing and it won't make the clicking noise any more.

A small handheld camera mount that has a lanyard attached to it will eliminate the annoying noise and keep you from dropping your camera. It also makes it much easier to hold and maneuver with it in your hand.

Put a chunk of electrical shrink wrap around the piece that clicks on your camera so you can use the lanyard.

You could take a piece of heat shrink and shrink it over the plastic bit of the lanyard. That way the clicking sound disappears? Note though, that you cannot use a flamethrower to shrink the tube over the plastic bit...

Seems like a simple rubber band would keep the lanyard from clicking.

When my boy was your girl Annie's age he wouldn't eat eat very either. He wasn't growing like he should have been and was extremely under weight. After several trips to specialist doctors we still could not figure out why he wouldn't eat. Finally, his pediatrician looked at his throat and found the problem. His tonsils were so large he had too hard of a time swallowing. The tonsils came out and he grew like a weed. It's amazing that not one specialist doc looked in his mouth.

You could wrap the plastic part of the lanyard in tape or something so it doesn't make the clicky sound when it bumps the camera and then you can still use it. BOOM you're welcome Matt

Matt you should plasti-dip the plastic of the lanyard, rap it in duct tape, or glue foam to it so you can use the lanyard without it constantly tapping.
