Merging iPhone LiDAR scans with CloudCompare 

Bit of an old video but for anyone watching you can use the translation to get it in the general space and use the ICP tool (top left on the tool bar with a green object with red arrow going up) to get a more precise link. Merge and potentially use the subsample tool to average out where multiple scans overlap 👍

I will deffinitly give this a try, I process my UAV photogrametry with Pix4D and am looking for a way to merge point clouds from inside to the outside, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Would be interested in seeing what RMS value is achieved after you manually align the scans if you use the fine align tool

Sitescape implies that it is suitable for topographic mapping but I don't see any examples. Please let me see what samples you have?

How do I take dimensions from it?
