Repeat rows 13-14 until the desired length. (About a 1/4 of the total size for the bust) I'm about a size 12 dress in US (5'3 ft 145-155 lbs) and I used her "large" size from the paid pattern. It's about 4 or 5 repeats of 13/14. Attach new string to the top of the work and make again.

I'm making this top for myself. Hopefully I'll have it ready by summer. I love the fact that the size is customizable; you don't see a lot of cute tops that are size inclusive, especially if you're a size L or above like me.

For everyone asking about a larger size what I did was used a weight three yarn and a size 4 hook and I followed her directions instead I increased one more time so I had 16 stitches on a shell for the last three rows before I attached. I hope this helps.

I have a question, when you chain 3 and flip your work, you say to skip 2 chains but it looks like you’re skipping 3 chains… are you supposed to skip 2 or 3? (I know the turning chains don’t count but it still looks like you skip 3 chains instead of 2) Could you maybe make a short reel or video explaining? If not that’s okay. Thanks for your time!

So i kept messing up after row 14. Please don't skip stitches in the video. I'd appreciate a full tutorial instead of thinking im smart enough to figure the rest out by myself 😭 redid the rows so many times and kept doing them wrong

I'm having the same issue. I think that where ever I would have the colours not line up, I'm just going to use white to separate it so that they aren't right next to each other. I'll let you know how it goes once I finish (I hope).

So I wear a size D cup, and have a rather wide chest/shoulder area. If I use a larger weight yarn and bigger hook, do you think this would fit? I am getting married next year and want to make my own dress ❤️ I will be wear a black suit under it, so not really worried about the size of the holes. Just LOOOOOVE this dress. It’s GORGEOUS. I just want to make sure it’ll fit my bust size. I don’t want to go through the entire pattern to find out I needed to add more stitches per row lol

I’d say try decreasing more by skipping the first 4 stitches instead of skipping 3. You could also not crochet the increases in row 8 and 9 and just continue crocheting, decreasing like rows 4 to 6 until you have your desired width, add a ‘normal’ (no decrease or increase) row like row 7, and then finish the top with the frizzles from row 9 (without any increases)
