I love the little shy peck on the lips the bride gave to her groom when they were pronounced husband and wife. That is so beautiful and appropriate. I can't stand when the bride and groom start making out in front of their families like they were in a private room. This was classy and just beautiful.
I grew up around the corner from the Meridian House. We used to walk by on the weekends and watch all the lovely happenings there. Many blessings to the newlyweds. If your marriage is anything like the setting of your wedding it will be filled with love and happiness.
She is from my tribe, the Igbo people in Nigeria, her name fully spelt out could be Nkechinyere or Nkechinyelu depending on the dialect her parents speak, meaning the one God gave or gifted. She and her husband are awesome, I wish them the best.

The bride is beautiful and the groom handsome. I pray a long blissful marriage.I used to work at the Meridian House/Mansion in DC and that is such a huge and lively Mansion. The demand for weddings at this historical mansion are high in demand. The Whitemeyer mansion next door is beautiful as well. I dream of being married at the Meridian.
That kiss was pretty much as short as my wedding day kiss! LOL. My photographer didn't even catch the kiss for a photo. I was mad at my husband for a long time for giving me that short kiss, but he said he did that because he knew I didn't like PDA. But seriously, you skimp on the ceremony kiss after we're pronounced husband and wife??? LOL. Hopefully one day I'll get over that. Anyway, God bless this beautiful couple.
