@@user-ki4dx9po6r this cracks me up... producers should be more creative than applying the same "patterns" over and over again.... like in any music, dnb or neurofunk especially should be re-innovated instead of reiterating the same sounds and structure which has long lost its soul...

Right! I’m not fond of the overall trend in neuro. Used to be you’d have guys like Spor putting out some top notch stuff, now it all sounds the same. This track is definitely a refreshing change.

Neuro (is it still neuro though?) became a hard big room music. Personaly I find it tiring, I prefared late 00s in hard dnb scene (proper new school neuro, technoid dnb, skullstep grotesque sounds, some oldschool amen rinsouts, PRSPCT being super fresh with mergin HC and dnb, etc, hard dnb scene was for sure more diverse). Saying that, there's nothing wrogn with it. Genre music needs loads of generic tunes to stay a genre :D At the end it's a dance music, it's all about skanking out all night long to the sounds that make you happy. There is plenty of different dnb out there for anyone who's tired with particular vibes/subgenres :) And speaking of Merikan, he is for sure making the more interesting tunes in this style. I dig him a lot. Cheers!
