Meringue Cookies is a popular childhood treats in the Philippines, a sweet crunchy cookie made out of egg whites and sugar.
Recipe:
160 grams Egg Whites
240 grams Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Food Coloring

Make this in a sunny and dry weather it may be difficult to make it in a rainy day because of the humidity it may become sticky after cooling down the meringue.
Pack the meringue when it is slightly warm to prevent it to become sticky.
take note that the meringue will turn a little bit pale after baking you may want to add more food color base on the color you want.
To check if the meringue is done, lift one piece if it pulls out easily, it is ready. let it cool inside the oven.
