I bought the 34c and feel the handle is too short and slippery. So, I have the 38c on the way. I prefer the Parker razors with the black handles. If you want only 1 razor, I would recommend the Parker 69cr. It has a long gold/silver handle and two different blade bases. One is closed comb and one is open comb. The open comb isn't that aggressive...the same as their 26c.
@@thelazybone666 The head is the same, but the 34C doesn't have the "barber pole" handle. The longer handle makes it heavier, and the weight is no longer concentrated on the head, but is more evenly distributed. Incidentally, I bought both a 34C and a 38C and tried them for a few weeks and ended up keeping the 34C--mostly because there wasn't much difference to me in the shaving experience and the 34C was around $15 cheaper.
