RAF Merlin ZJ995 flew in for static display at the Old Leamingtonians Rugby For Heroes charity event held at The Croft ground on Sunday 17th May 2015. This video features the full landing and take off sequence with full engine shut down at start up, with two very impressive flypasts on departure.

Hiya I am just enquiring, if I could use part of this footage for my collage coursework. A single reply yes or no would suffice. The project consists of an tv advertisment, and we have our own footage with the merlin grounded but lack any of it flying. Kind regards

They look sexy in green, shame all the commando helicopters will be painted grey! Probably so they can multi task on RN frigates and destroyers because we don't have enough Merlins! Shameful. The jungle sea kings these replaced looked great in white and black strikes and green army camo! Grey looks dull and pick so up dirt easily.
