At that time, all those cartoons had the 1930's Merrie melodies alphabet soup letters logo. 0:12 0:40 1:10 1:30 1:48 2:11 2:35 2:58 3:22 3:48 4:13 4:39 5:03

Except for 1937 onward, it had the titles we see today. Then in late 1938 and especially 1939 that's when we really saw the logo we see today.

I would like to see MeTv, HBO Max or Warner Bros in general release Going to Heaven on a Mule restored that is. Sure they probably won't because of the stereotypes but they should at least give it an adult collector type home video offer via Warner Archive for example. Same with the other offensive shorts. Just release and restore them as part of Warner Archive for the adult collectors.

Pop Goes Your Heart is restored too, MeTv aired it on a Friday celebrating Father's Day, a surprise restoration

Most of those cartoons in this video are in the sunset productions package.

Yes, in the case of 1934, only the color shorts went to AAP. This was also the last batch of Merrie Melodies shorts that went to Sunset.

I would like to see all the Looney Tunes cartoons of this particular era and near fully restored, possibly through the archives. Most of them are a lot of fun, including one that was not included here, “sitting on a backyard fence“.“The Phantom ship“ is one of my favorites, along with “the Miller’s daughter“.
