The Hawaiians are a beautiful people with a beautiful culture! I am great full that they share their gifts with the world in the true spirit of Aloha !!
The culture of the natives includes slavery, human sacrifice, scarlet vice, and not even having a written language before the arrival of Christian missionaries.
SOOOOO AMAZING.. If people only knew how much dicipline it takes to do this hula... haha THEY MAKE THIS LOOK SOOOOOO EASY.. but in all acctuality its super Hard.. big props bruddahs... mahalo nui..
I can't express how much love and respect I have for all these beautiful hawaiian men & women, even the children. When they hula they are so on point, so stunning, so proud. I am from the Cook Islands and French Polynesian and our hula is extremely hardcore so believe me I can only imagine how TOUGH Hawaiian hula really is just by looking at the way they execute evvverything in fact I think it's way harder than Cook island & Tahitian dancing??!?!!🤔 L&R to the Hawaiian community Xx Manea
I used to dance for Kumu Obrien Eselu back at Aiea High School Polynesian Club 90-92. Kumu Obrien took me and another friend to his Halau hula practice to try out, man it kicked my okole. .watching this guy's at practice was mean bra. Bad ass. really nice people, I still recognized 5 of them back than. Thank you Kumu rip
The kane of this halau are an example of the Hawaiian people's rich tradition and through dance the old ways live on....Mahalo nui for keeping the spirit of Hawaiian way of life alive...
Rest in Peace Kumu O'Brian Eselu..... I love all of his + his students performances. Very beautiful....i can feel the mana, meaning, story.... flowing..... Aloha and Mahalo 4 all you have shared and taught, Kumu O'Brian
Yummm so much testosterone! So HAWT. my grandma always tells me to "find nice island boy" ----- imagine this in a Hawaiian accent. Really beautiful dancing though. I love hula so much. Such art, These men convey the story well. Unison like that take A LOT of practice. No wonder they are buff. Unfortunately most of my Hawaiian culture is lost to me since we moved away. I don't understand the language anymore, not since I was a baby, yet I am surprised many of the words still sound familiar to me
I cannot believe it took a Tiktok video to bring me here, 14yrs later 😲😱. Never knew this existed. The most refreshing thing I have ever seen on my phone screen. Period. Now I see why people go to Hawaii. The men are gorgeous. 🎉 What a beautiful culture.
I think this is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen in any type of performing art. Simply stunningly brilliant! Ms Oda you are a beautiful legend and a credit to your culture. There must be someone out there with knowledge of the story this dance tells, can you share please?x
This is my favorite performance. The men are so graceful and gorgeous! I love their energy! I hope to go to the competition next year and see them live! :)
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HER MAJESTY WOULD BE SO PROUD....THE ENERGY IS HIGH U CAN TELL THAT YOU GUYS PUT ALOT OF TIME INTO THIS.....IM AM PROUD TO BE HAWAIIAN
The aloha spirit is disappearing from Hawaii. It pains me to witness this. But then I see these young men continuing the tradition of hula and my heart is warmed. Aloha

royal festival )there was monarchy till 1893 . They venerate Kalākaua the last king buried in Royal Mausoleum (Mauna ʻAla). There are still are the members of the royal family alive .
Well, I've been effectively courted, I hope I can go to Hawaii and accept any of these men to be my lifelong mate... And get one to accept me in return
