First channel I followed since I got my Griddle in April of 2023. Made all sorts of your recipes, especially your fried rice as my son's love it. Best griddle cooking channel on the planet. I cook all year here in the northeast, with a beer on my hand!
Year round griddling with beer in hand is the only way to do it!!!! Thanks so much for watching and I'm glad your son's like the fried rice recipe. That's what it's all about cooking food for your family.
My friend has a griddle and made your smash burgers. They were great so I got a griddle of my own to eliminate cooking strong foods in the house. He told me about your channel and I'm hooked. I am an advanced home cook with a lump charcoal BBQ and a son that is a chef. Your videos are helpful to any level of cook learning a new piece of equipment... plus I like your attitude and sense of humor. I've basically done all of the go to meals and my first was a massive breakfast with all of the staples. So far, I haven't had a bad meal. That all is because of your guidance. Thank you sir! I'm glad to see your are thriving.
Awesome!!! Congratulations on the new griddle and I'm so glad that my videos have been helpful. If you're already an advanced home cook then it probably didn't take long for you to master the griddle. What do you cook on with the lump charcoal? A Webber or a komodo? I have a big green egg and I'm still learning a lot on that. But it's a ton of fun to use. Thanks so much for watching.
Oh and eliminating strong foods in the house is 100% one of the most underrated perks. People usually talk about the variety and the large amount of food you can make. But if I were one of the griddle manufacturers, I'd immediately make a commercial of someone's wife getting upset about the smell and all the grease in the kitchen from like bacon or stir fry. Then I'd present the griddle as the solution. It's worth its price tag just for that in my opinion. So you're a smart man, thanks again.
@@JohnnyBrunet LOL yes that "feature" was the big selling point for me. The hardwood BBQ is Dyna-Glo DGN576SNC-D. It was cheaper than the Egg and Weber but has a ton of grilling room. I can use it to get away with some smoking and cooking over indirect heat. I saw the Egg in the background of some of your videos. The big advantage of that over mine is the heat retention and it seals in the smoke better.
Husband here. Merry Christmas to you and yours Johnny!!!! You are my go to Griddle guy and I like your style. Beer in hand, calm, cookin. No Aunt Millies at my location, not to worry. Thanx fer the Tater casserole recipe. Will be usin that fer Christmas cookin. P.S. Congrats on ur sponsorships!!!!! Texas Toast Rocks!!! Yummsterific
You're very welcome and I'm so glad I could help. I love it when I hear that people use my videos to cook food for there family. It really does make my day. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
No Aunt Millie's in Pacific Northwest, but thanks for the thought. As a rooking I appreciate your humorous teaching, and great recipes! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to your family, and other viewers.
Thanks so much I hope you had a great holiday season as well. I'm glad you think my content is sincere bc I try to be as honest as possible. Thanks again.
Thank you for everthing you do lol and dont do. I look forward to many, many more videos! May you and your family and all your subscribes have a very, very Merry Christmas 🎄🥰
Thank you so much for what you do. I was given a Blackstone as a gift but I didn't even cook. I have an amazing wife who makes crazy good food so I was sunk. In a panic I did what we all do when we have no idea what do to: I went to RU-vid for help. The first few videos I found made it worse because the people griddling where making top-shelf food with expensive ingredients and words I had to look up in a dictionary, which I didn't own so there's that too. These were guys wearing black food-handler's gloves. Yeah, that was never going to happen. But then I found you, drinking beer and scorching your eggs, buying food I could afford. What a life-saver! Now I'm griddling all the time and feeding my family of 5 without blowing the budget. I've made and tried so many things in these first 9 months of griddling. I live in Utah and we have bad winters, but I've made a way to roll my griddle into the garage and back out when it's not too bad. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas. (And also, the griddle pop corn was interesting but a little warning not to lift the dome to check if you don't want to blow popcorn everywhere might be helpful if you ever try that again.)
Bryan, many of the other youtube chefs you mentioned now seem to spend about 10% of their video time hawking sponsored or branded products. I watch for the cooking, and have grown tired of forwarding through their incessant sales pitches - sometimes two to three per video. I appreciate that Johnny minimizes his advertising and always does it with some levity instead of just a blatant sales pitch. I’ve also noticed how many youtube chefs only give good product reviews, like they never encounter an item that doesn’t perform satisfactorily. Gotta be related to sponsorships. Johnny’s videos are definitely something average people can relate to and learn from.
Hey Bryan thanks so much for all the kind words. I'm so glad that my videos were helpful and felt relatable. That's my goal is to do simple everyday food that people will actually make. It really makes my day to know you're using my videos to feed your family of five. Also it sounds like you got a good set up with that garage. Thanks again for what and happy holidays.
Thanks so much Kevin that all really means a lot to me. I try to keep it as authentic as possible. Aunt Millie's was my first sponsor and I was very concerned as to how that would go over. I didn't want to come off as a used car salesman. I appreciate you watching buddy.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. I always appreciate how funny and down to earth your videos are. As a fairly new Blackstone owner you really helped me start off right and have given me the confidence to try new things. Have a great 2024.
Congratulations on the Aunt Millie’s sponsorship! Well deserved my friend. Have a wonderful Christmas to you and your beautiful family. Always looking forward to more of your content. BLT would have to be my favorite sandwich to make.
Your comment "happy mistakes" in the first video I watched got me hooked, plus you enjoying a cold beer now and then. Merry Christmas to you and your family, I hope for 2024 you reach 100K subscribers.
Thanks so much I'm sure you know but I got that from Bob Ross and I just love that attitude towards cooking. Everything isn't perfect but you learn and move forward. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you also have a great 2024.
Thanks for all of your videos, I bought a Blackstone griddle when I started watching you. So I have been watching ever since for all of your tips and tricks. Keep up the good work on your videos, I learn more about the griddle everytime I watch you. So thank you and keep grilling. Merry Christmas !

My family LOVE French toast every Sunday morning. Your videos have helped me be a better griddle, and my wife and I love watching them, especially for the great Dad jokes. ;) Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!
Merry Christmas Johnny and to your sweet family! Love your humor and your videos. I watch every one!!! ❤❤ Humor and grilling. You can't get any getter!
Love Aunt Millie’s! The Texas Toast they make is the best! Every store in our area carries Aunt Millie’s so that is all we buy for bread! Great channel Johnny!
Awesome!!! I'm sorry but I already picked a winner. Hopefully they'll allow me to do another give away. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you had a great Christmas as well. Sorry for the delay in responding.
Merry Christmas and congrats on the sponsorships!!! Now it's time for Johnny's Seasoning Salt to step up!!! Love your videos. Cant wait to see what 2024 brings.
Regrettably Aunt Millie’s is no where to be found in northern Wisconsin. I can’t imagine anyone just clicking like on one of your videos and not watching the whole thing. You’re an entertainer and pretty good griddler in my opinion. Merry Christmas and thanks for your channel
Thanks Gary! I appreciate the kindness and words and I'm glad you like the videos. Sorry about the no Aunt Millie's in your area. I hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you as well. I'll keep trying to make c bus proud even if the jackets don't 🤦♂️. Man I'm so frustrated with them, but it's the holidays so I'll be nice and not say anymore.
My husband and I LOVE you, dear Mr. Johnny! We discovered your channel after getting our grill last year, but YOU were the best part of learning how to cook on it! Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm so glad that you and your husband like my videos. I hope you had a great Christmas as well and a happy new year.
Merry Christmas Johnny! I bought a griddle in the early summer and really didn’t know how to use it. I found your videos and you made it so much less intimidating with your explanations and demonstrations. I love watching your videos and receiving your tips via email. Thanks for all you do!!
Merry Christmas...i was so glad to find your channel. You make the process of using my Blackstone simple and entertaining. Thank you. Here's to a Happy New Year and a wonderful 2024.
Merry Christmas Johnny and family. I love your sense of humor!!! Your layer back attitude always gives me the courage to try different things on the griddle. Thanks for showing me the wal!!!!
Merry Christmas! Thanks for all the shared tips, tricks and ideas. I think the wire racks for keeping things warm is the best thing I got from your vids. Great times with good food and shared memories where the diet starts next week! Aunt Millie's loves you and so do we. Griddle on!
Thanks David! I appreciate you watching and I'm glad my tips have been helpful. I agree the wire rack definitely comes in hand when things starting cooking too quickly. I hope you also had some great holidays.
Merry belated Christmas and a happy new year, I have been watching your videos from the beginning and finally got a griddle. I am looking forward to your videos this year, keep up the great work!!!!!!
Just got my griddle after watching the channel for the past year (been trying to demystify my smoker first). Looking forward to getting the e-book and rewatching your videos before trying them myself!
Merry Christmas! I enjoy all your videos. You create great videos with added humor and commentary! Continue to make videos when you can and start your diet next week!
Thank you Johnny for introducing me to griddling. I purchased my Blackstone a couple years ago and did not have the first idea of how to season it let alone cook on it. I always enjoy your lighthearted cooking video's. Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
