At this point no one should question how Mizuhara treats Kazuya, yeah she can be very straight forward and a bit harsh, but it's not without reason especially the way he was creeping up on her in this episode. Yet in this one scene alone it shows how thoughtful and considerate she is as a person. Not only did she make a reference to how badly damaged Kazuya's phone was in the previous episode, she went out of her way to buy a case for it, ask for another guys opinion and remembered he liked visiting the aquarium so she got one with a fish design. She truly is a great character.

As you delve deeper into the story you truly come to fall in love with Chizuru as you come to understand all her tribulations, her dreams and how hard she works for them. ... a shame that the same can't be said of Kazuya. I mean, he does mature quite a bit, but it's still leagues behind Mizuhara's development as a character.

Damn, a normal girl would've went off on Kazuya for following her around all day. Props to Chizuru for doing literally the exact opposite!

He also has his own fish and she even took the time to research fish for their second date. She put a decent amount of thought into the gift as well as a lot of effort in her own work

Kazuya has been talking about how he can grow as a person when ever he is with Mizuhara and I had been feeling the same thing too. Even though she is not real. Just seeing her so kind and strong makes me want to be a better person. I hope that I can meet someone like that someday.

Like, MC doing a nice thing, but it's actually similar to something that happened in the past of the love interest, spoiling the whole idea. Anyway, in the end, the anime will go down as the anime with the most love story clichés ever.
